This November, Daira Global is proud to present Under the Same Sky, a group exhibition bringing together over twenty contemporary Pakistani artists in New York City. Spanning distinct styles and techniques, the exhibition revisits childhood through symbols, characters, and places that are deeply personal to each artist yet resonate across borders.

Featuring both emerging and established voices from across Pakistan, Under the Same Sky offers its viewers a look into a rapidly evolving art scene defined by technical mastery and conceptual depth. From the delicate precision of Neo-Miniature to bold abstractions and experimental materiality, these works reflect a generation of artists pushing beyond tradition while remaining rooted in it.

Under the Same Sky marks Daira Global’s inaugural exhibition in the United States, continuing its mission to bridge cultures and bring the voices of artists from underrepresented regions to a global stage.

View the world through art

We champion contemporary artists from emerging countries to break stereotypes, raise cultural awareness, enrich the global art dialogue and foster social development, envisioning a future where artists shine on the world stage, and is accessible to all.

Art tells a thousand stories in a thousand different ways

As families continue to migrate and settle away from their home countries, it becomes harder for future generations to feel connected to their roots. Daira is here to bridge that gap and bring a sense of home to the diaspora—through art. Art and culture from emerging markets often don’t get the visibility they deserve, making them both socially and financially undervalued on a global scale. At Daira, we’re here to change that. Our goal is to serve artists and collectors in a different way. Here’s how:

1. We know it is possible to do good whilst doing well. Our artists and their art share in the profits of Daira, benefitting from all exhibitions and sales to provide patronage to the artist

2. We are a global brand, prioritising local artists with limited access to markets and ensure that we are able to scale and support artists globally; and

3. We are not just selling art, we are telling the stories and experiences of people, journaling it all and ensuring that history and culture is celebrated, protected and carried forward into new homes and countries.

We are starting with South Asian, South East Asian and African artists and welcome contributors from all over the world.

Wherever a story for a person begins, our aim is to bring it full circle, bringing them a piece of their home, culture, story and history.

Seeing is believing.
